ENCOURAGEMENT FROM COLONEL SANDERS
ASCENT
Have you ever sought to achieve a worthy goal and through the help of a coach or teacher been given the guidance to lead you to accomplishment? No one has ever achieved greatness in any endeavor alone. No matter the inate ability, the in-born talent, the natural gifts, without the guidance and encouragement of others, we will never reach our full Potential!
When Sir Edmund Hillary, the great New Zealander Mountaineer, became the first man to conquer Mount Everest, he he did not do it alone. He credited the wise counsel and advice of his guide Tinsing as essential in his achievement.
What is it that a coach brings to the equation? Along with instruction and correction of mistakes, they bring encouragement to counter the inevitable discouragement we experience when we fail! Mastery is a process. It is a long journey of trial, failure , correction and eventually success. With no one there to pick us up when we fall, to lift our spirit when we despair, to show us the way when we lose it, we are doomed to never bring all we are capable of being!
